Main Research Areas
  • Formulation Technology
    As a core technology to address various semiconductor/display process chemicals such as developers, strippers, etchants and functional cleaners, we carry out 'Residue-free' processes based on solubility parameter theory and deepen research on metal corrosion control technology based on electron mobility theory while exploring formulation optimization for each product.
  • Synthesis Technology
    We focus on researching synthesis design and polymerization techniques related to special additives that impart differentiated functionality to products or exploring retrosynthesis technologies that estimate pathways created by breaking down any already synthesized material into molecular structure units.

    Nano Dispersion
    We explore nano-scale particle size reduction technologies with high concentration and low viscosity characteristics that are required across fields from conductive slurry for secondary batteries to pigment mill bases for displays, based on research related to dispersion systems that effectively control particle agglomeration and dispersion methods that reduce rheological behavior.
  • Analysis Technology
    To respond to various chemical-derived defects occurring in the semiconductor, display and battery fields, we deepen our research on defect analysis technologies that identify the causes of defects, primarily using spectroscopic and chromatographic methods.
